Courses We Provide
MIIAS provides two categories of courses designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the UPSC examination.
The one-year course concentrates on comprehending the approach and includes newspaper reading and an introduction to the fundamental concepts of history, politics, economics, geography, and international relations. Also included are essay practice, general mental ability, English, answer writing skills, book reading, and assessments.
In the two-year program, students acquire expertise in a variety of GS disciplines. Papers 1, 2, 3, and 4 are completed through hand-holding by mentors such as Mr. Jha and others, a contact program, and the same but more immersive than the minimum one-year program. Also included are essay practice, general mental ability, English, answer writing skills, book reading, and assessments. A research-based approach to answering the Mains Question Paper. Exam preparation and the improvement of presentation skills are also taught. The third module focuses on comprehensive preparation for the UPSC exam.
1. Geography Optional.
MIIAS provides two test series for the Geography optional in the UPSC examinations: a standard series of 14 tests and an extended series of 36 tests. Students can earn higher scores on prelims, mains, essays, and interviews if they study geography thoroughly. Geography-related questions appear frequently in the preliminary paper 1, Mains GS papers 1, 2, and 3, and the essay. Test series are provided. The scope of this subject includes soil and vegetation, water resources, agriculture, energy sectors, tribes, and animal species. Geography is useful for GS Mains Papers 1, 2, and 3, which cover topics such as integrated agriculture, global warming, and disaster management. Geographical knowledge can aid in addressing issues such as corruption and tribal areas in the ethics paper.
2. Current Affairs
Current events play a significant role in UPSC examinations, accounting for fifty percent of all three stages' marks.
